Take a look at the first footage from the multiplayer Call of Duty: Vanguard -apkrig
The developers of Call of Duty: Vanguard are tempted to try out the game with a time-limited alpha test on PlayStation. It will be available to all PS4 and PS5 gamers, and there is no need for a PS Plus subscription. The new Champion Hill multi-arena tournament mode will run from August 27 from 7 pm to August 29, with the preload available today. And a fresh trailer about a minute long is also trying to lure us to the event.
One large map for several parallel battles
In this mode, eight teams can compete in parallel in four arenas, but only one of the fights will eventually win the tournament spider. The individual areas of the entire map are briefly demonstrated in the trailer. You can also see weapons and upgrades that you can buy with the money you earn. It will be played in teams against each other 2 on 2 and 3 on 3. It is supposed to be an evolution of the Gunfight mode. The goal is to deprive the enemy of all lives and advance to the next round, where a new team is waiting for you.
And what will it look like in practice? There will be four main heroes of Vanguard to choose from as operators – Lucas Riggs, Polina Petrovová, Wade Jackson and Arthur Kingsley. They all start with the same equipment, kill opponents and earn points for new weapons, upgrades, equipment, perks and killstreaks between rounds. In the environment of this mode, it will be possible to break doors and other obstacles and barriers.
Champion Hill takes place on a large map, which is divided into five sectors. The first is set aside for shopping and preparation, the remaining four for the fight itself. When you are eliminated from the fight, you can watch the tournament continue without you from the shopping area. The authors promise that it will be a mixture of tactics, strategy, fast action and short-range firefighting. No two matches will be the same and according to the team you have to tact and aim well. More details about the new mode can be found on the PlayStation Blog and the official Call of Duty website.
As such, the authors will present multiplayer on September 7. Then, from September 10 to 13, there will be a closed beta for players who pre-order the title on PlayStation. A week later, there will be the same content for everyone on PlayStation and pre-orderers on PC and Xbox. Finally, from September 18, the open beta will be available to everyone.
