Capcom attracts multiplayer Resident Evil -apkrig on the beta

On January 21, there will be a special broadcast dedicated to the horror series Resident Evil, Capcom announced. And obviously a very interesting program awaits us. According to the publisher, we can look forward to news about Resident Evil Village, a new trailer and the first proper gameplay. But also other news. And since this year marks the 25th anniversary of the saga, it is quite possible that there will also be talk of a new film or a feature and animated series.

Nový on-line Resident Evil?

Or a brand new game. Recent leaks from Capcom’s internal data have already indicated something. And now the company is enticing members of the so-called Resident Evil Ambassador program to try their luck and sign up for a closed beta of some unannounced multiplayer game from this world. Interestingly, it is aimed at the PS4 and Xbox One consoles. More information about the game is to be revealed on January 21, and the beta will run at the end of January.

But what can it be? I honestly admit that after attempts and experiments in the form of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, Umbrella Corps and Resident Evil: Resistance, I no longer have a great appetite for multiplayer in the performance of this brand. But that doesn’t mean I’m not curious what Capcom is up to.

And what about the Village for old consoles

The first Resident Evil was released in Japan on March 22, 1996 for the original PlayStation. By the end of the month, he had reached the United States, but Europe has traditionally had to wait the longest. Resident Evil debuted here in early August. We can also expect some more comments on the brand’s 25th birthday during these dates.

The Resident Evil Showcase starts on Thursday, January 21 at 11 pm Central European Time. We could also find out here whether Resident Evil Village will finally arrive on PS4 and Xbox One, which are not confirmed platforms, but the authors have indicated that they are still striving for them. The game will definitely be released on a PC and a new console.
