Google Photos will soon have a special widget for reminders

Google is working on a feature for Google Photos where you can place a widget on your home screen. The widget that will become available, of which we are now seeing the first images, is aimed at looking back on memories.

Google Photos is a very useful tool for managing your photos. Not only the photos and many other media files that are on your smartphone, but also those from your online account. An interesting new feature for Google Photos is now ready. You have been able to use the application for reminders for some time now. For now, these are indications for the new feature; it is not yet available to the general public. The widget has a size of 2×2 tiles and will be named ‘Your memories’. When you want to place the widget, you will be asked from which Google account the memories should be retrieved. The Google Photos widget will switch between the different photos.
