The School For Good and Evil

Who wouldn’t want Charlize Theron, Michelle Yeoh and Kerry Washington as teachers? In this film based on a popular book series, two friends face each other when they end up at a school for heroes and villains. Suddenly it feels very good to be bad.

The School For Good and Evil premieres October 19.

The Midnight Club

You can get spooky again this month with Mike Flanagan’s latest series (Midnight Mass, The Haunting of Bly Manor). The Midnight Club is about seven terminally ill young people who stay in a hospice. Every midnight they gather to tell exciting stories to each other. There they agree: whoever dies first must communicate with the rest from the afterlife. When someone actually dies, strange things happen.

The Midnight Club can be seen from October 7.

All Quiet on the Western Front

In 1928 the book Im Westen nichts Neues, or All Quiet on the Western Front, was published in Germany. Written by a veteran of the First World War, this book is about the physical and mental distress that German soldiers felt during the war. The book has already been filmed twice, in 2930 and 1979. Now a third film version is being added.

All Quiet on the Western Front premieres October 28.

mr. Harrigan’s Phone

Young Craig develops a friendship with an old man. Not long after Craig found this Mr. Harrigan gives an old iPhone so they can text each other, this gentleman dies. Then it turns out Mr. Harrigan still hanging around, via the iPhone.

mr. Harrigan’s Phone will be available on October 5.

Derry Girls Season 3

Fans have been waiting for it for a long time, but you can finally watch the third and final season of Derry Girls in October. This hilarious comedy series is about a group of friends at a Catholic girls’ school in Ireland during the 1990s. The series successfully alternates the girls’ adventures with key events in Ireland’s history.

The third season of Derry Girls will air on October 7.
