Ubisoft Connect promises new Rainbow Six as early as March 21 -apkrig

The developers from Ubisoft presented the continuation of the Rainbow Six series at the E3 trade fair in 2019 and promised that fans would be able to start playing as early as the following year. Quarantine has a different path than the competitive Siege and wants to return the series closer to the form in which it began 23 years ago, which gave a refreshing impression and undoubtedly evoked memories of previous episodes. But a few months later, Ubisoft evaluated the then new Ghost Recon Breakpoint as unsuccessful, which, with a planned change in internal game development practices, affected Rainbow Six Quarantine in addition to Assassin’s Creed and Immortals: Fenyx Rising, and the game was postponed to another financial period. Last year also did not want completion due to measures against the spread of coronavirus, and it is not surprising that Quarantine does not appear in the lists of expected titles this year. Nevertheless, the player was surprised by information directly from the Ubisoft Connect website, which promises to release the game on March 21, 2021, which also denied the words of Ubisoft President Yves Guillemot, who confirmed last year that neither Far Cry 6 nor the new Rainbow Six will arrive until 1. April this year.

If you click on the profile of the mentioned title on the official Ubisoft Connect website, you will see a preview of the box, the target platforms Xbox One, PS4 and PC and a relatively large inscription mentioning the above release date. It is clear from the description that RS Quarantine is supposed to be a team tactical shooter with cooperation for up to three players, in which your strike unit will face a threat in the form of an unknown infection. Despite the fact that the concept of the game has not changed since the performance, the topic is even more appropriate given the current circumstances in the world, and we can safely speculate whether Ubisoft is not talking about the game for this very reason. Either way, except for the absence of the option to pre-order the game, the entry in the official database seems surprising, but believable, especially when the date has been on the site for a week and no one from Ubisoft has intervened yet. Why should he, too, you ask? Because a spokesman for the French company finally answered a question from IGN magazine to refute that the information was true and said it had no idea how the date reached the site…

That developers don’t care too much about any of the feeds – whether it’s specific social networks or official websites – is not shocking. After all, it took Ubisoft a few days to adjust the date of release of the upcoming remake of the Prince of Persia from the original January 21 to March 18 in the database, for example, but in the case of Quarantine the situation is a little different. The game has not yet received any release date, the case is several days old and the still active registration only causes confusion among the fans. It is definitely worth remembering that the last big work before Siege was Rainbow Six: Vegas 2, which was released in 2008 and according to the comments in the comments on social networks, fans of the brand rate Ubisoft’s inactivity as unfortunate. But everyone else points out that they have basically lost interest in the game and do not believe that without any information it should actually come out in two months. Expectations are lowered by the fact that Quarantine was already playable inside Siege at its core as a time-limited PvE event Outbreak and is not thought to be a coincidence. Finally, the trailer reveals the similarity, whether we are talking about an infection or operators.
