Alcatel announces new Alcatel 1S (2021), Alcatel 3L (2021) and new tablet

Alcatel has announced two new smartphones and a tablet at the (digital) CES of 2021. The devices will be named Alcatel 1S (2021), Alcatel 3L (2021) and the tablet named Alcatel 1T 7 WiFi.

Alcatel presents three devices

The CES in Las Vegas is held every year and manufacturers usually present their new devices there. This year, it is all digital because of the Coronavirus. TCL presents three new Alcatel devices that we will immediately update you on.

Alcatel 1S (2021)

The Alcatel 1 series has been around for a few years now. Not surprising, because you get a fairly extensive phone with everything you need for a decent price. Now it is time for the Alcatel 1S (2021). This smartphone focuses on delivering a great visual and camera experience at a competitive price, the manufacturer promises. The Alcatel is equipped with a triple camera (13MP + 2MP depth + 2MP macro). There is also a physical Google Assistant button.

Alcatel gives the 1S 2021 a 6.52 inch HD + display, along with a 5 megapixel front camera, MediaTek 6762D octa-core chipset, 3GB RAM and 32GB storage space. It is striking that, according to Alcatel itself, there is still 17GB of it, which is considerable. At the back, the 1S offers a fingerprint scanner and there is a 4000 mAh battery. Interesting: it comes with Android 11.

The smartphone should come to the Netherlands later this year. It will be available in Elegant Black and Twilight Blue colors. A prize has not yet been shared. The current Alcatel 1SE (2020) came on the market for 99 euros.

Alcatel 3L (2021)

Alcatel’s 3-series will be expanded with the Alcatel 3L (2021). Here we see a 6.52 inch HD + screen with an 8MP front camera in a notch. On the back is a triple camera with 48MP main lens, 2MP depth and 2MP macro lenses. The processor and battery are the same as those of the Alcatel 1S (2021) and there is also a physical button for the Google Assistant. The smartphone offers 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage space, of which 48GB remains. Interesting; the Alcatel 3L runs on Android 11 straight from the box. A price is unknown. The release will take place sometime this year, but Alcatel does not provide much clarity about this.

Alcatel 1T 7 WiFi

A tablet for families, that is how the Alcatel 1T 7 WiFi is described. The device is equipped with Android 11 Go-Edition and is therefore adapted for devices with less powerful hardware. There is a special Kids mode that children can use. The tablet offers a 7.0-inch screen, but further details are unfortunately not known. The same goes for the price and release date of the Alcatel 1T 7 WiFi.
