7+ election apps that help you with the 2017 House of Representatives elections

On March 17, we will be able to vote in the Netherlands for the 2021 election to the House of Representatives. You may still have doubts about what you are going to vote for or you are curious about the possible consequences. DroidApp lists seven useful election apps for you, so that you are well prepared for the elections.

Elections 2021 apps

Maybe you’ve already made your choice as to who to vote for on March 15, or maybe you’re still floating. To help you on your way, we have listed seven useful apps for you that will help you make your choice. In addition, we also highlight election apps that provide background information. This year 41 parties are participating, compared to 28 in 2017.

Stemwijzer app / Kieskompas

We start with Stemwijzer. On the basis of thirty statements, a picture is sketched of which party best suits your opinion. Unfortunately, there is no Stemwijzer app for 2017, but you can use the website that has also been adapted for the screen of the smartphone or tablet. There is also Kieskompas where you can see advice based on various statements. You can also get started with the AD election guide.

EenVandaag De Voting

We have previously covered the EenVandaag De Stemming app on DroidApp. With this app you can consult the polls and see which parties face competition from each other. You can also tap parties for a coalition in De Stemming app and see whether they would together achieve a majority based on the polls. A useful app.

Debate Direct

Earlier we wrote about the Debate Direct app on DroidApp. This allows you to follow the debates live via your tablet or smartphone. In a list you will find an overview of the debates and the various topics. You can indicate in the Debate Direct app that you want to receive notifications as soon as a specific politician starts speaking, a certain topic is discussed or when a debate starts. This way you can immediately engage and follow the debate from the House of Representatives.

NOS

The NOS app keeps you informed of all the news. In the NOS news app you can indicate in the menu that you want to display the ‘Politics’ section so that all messages related to the elections are bundled here. There is also a live blog until the elections where you are updated with the events every day.

NOW app

The Nu.nl app also contains a separate tab with political news. Here you will find the news about the parties, the party leaders, the campaigns and other reports about everything to do with the elections.

Political party apps

Then several political parties also have an app. We have listed these for you below. However, not every party has an app. In the apps of the parties you will find the news about the party, the themes and positions and of course more information about the party. Some apps can only be used by members.
