4 Netflix movies we’re looking forward to this summer

A number of Netflix movies will be released on the streaming service this summer. We picked a few that we think are going to be fun.

To be fair, with a Netflix film it is always a matter of waiting to see if you will get something good. Unfortunately, the American streaming service’s own productions are sometimes a bit disappointing. That doesn’t mean everything is bad. We found 4 interesting Netflix movies that will be on the service this summer. Disclaimer, this is based on the description and (teaser) trailers. Whether it will really be bangers remains to be seen.

Security – June 16 – action/mystery/tension

A security expert and his family become entangled in a web of secrets and lies after the attack on a young woman in their coastal town.

Prime Time – June 30 – Thriller/Drama

A Polish movie. On New Year’s Eve 1999, an armed man storms into a TV studio during a live broadcast. He takes the presenter hostage and only has a requirement. Telling a message on live television.

Fear Street Part 1: 1994 – July 2nd – Teen Horror/Thrilling

After some brutal slaughter, a teenager and her friends go to war against evil. That evil is a force and has plagued a notorious village for years. Welcome to the village of Shadyside.

Blood Red Sky – July 23 – horror/thriller

A mother and her son get stuck on a plane that is hijacked. The criminals are looking for money. The twist, however, is that the mother turns out to be a vampire/werewolf who wants to protect her son at all costs.
