In 2017, Apple took over music platform Shazam and we reap the benefits every year. It has become almost a tradition that we enjoy Apple Music for free via Shazam just before the holidays. And this year is no different: you now get four months of free Apple Music via Shazam!
This way you get 4 months of free Apple Music
To get four months of free Apple Music, head over to Shazam’s site. If you surf on your Mac, you scan the QR code with your iPhone. If you visit the site on your phone, you can immediately start your free subscription. Have you ever had Apple Music? Good news: the offer is available to everyone. So even if you have already had a (free) Apple Music subscription, you can now listen to Apple Music for free again for four months.
The offer runs until February 15, 2023, so you still have time to activate the offer. So you can also listen to your current Apple Music subscription this month and then activate the promotional code. Increased prices Apple Music
The offer comes at a very good time, because last month Apple announced that it would increase the prices of Apple Music. All subscriptions have increased by at least one euro per month, as an individual user you now pay 10.99 euros per month.
As a student you pay 5.99 euros per month and as a family (up to six users) you pay 16.99 euros per month. According to Apple, prices have risen due to higher licensing costs: artists now earn more for streaming their music. Obviously great for the musicians, but discounts are always welcome for us as listeners. The perfect time for four months of free Apple Music!
