YouTube comes with handy function

We all watch on YouTube. And on different devices. YouTube comes with a handy function that makes our lives easier.

Watch a movie on your smartphone. Unfortunately, you can’t copy it. Then you sit on your laptop again and think: ‘Gosh, I’m going to watch that movie now’. You often lose it. If you do find it again, you’ll have to scroll through it again to find out where you were. YouTube fixes this now.

Useful function YouTube

That’s why YouTube has a new feature that allows you to quickly switch from smartphone to desktop when watching a video, 9to5Google reports. If you watch something in the YouTube app on Android or iOS and exit before it’s done, a mini player with the same video will open in the bottom corner when you launch YouTube on the web. However, instead of displaying the channel name as usual, “Continue Watching” is displayed below the title. Useful!

How?

Clicking the play button will start playback in the mini player. Or you can expand it to open the video. The function makes it possible to go faster to a video that you have already watched, for example when you come home after being on a train. Otherwise, unless you checked ‘watch later’, you should check your history section and get the video from there.

The feature appears to be rolling out to the public now. Not everyone is right, according to several posts on forums. So it may take a while before you can use the function.
