This is how you forward iPhone
For example, if you receive a lot of calls for work, it can be nice to forward your number to another telephone number (for a while) outside office hours or during a meeting.
Even if you go on vacation, you may want to be temporarily unavailable for work-related matters. But you probably don’t want a customer or colleague to be unable to reach anyone either.
There is an easy solution for that! On your iPhone you can easily forward your number to, for example, the number of a colleague, a good friend or a general telephone number. Transferring your iPhone is done in the following way.
Transfer iPhone to another phone
- Open the ‘Settings’ on your iPhone;
- Scroll down and tap “Phone”;
- Choose ‘Forwarding’ and set the switch to green;
- Then tap on ‘Forward to’;
- Enter the phone number to which calls should be forwarded.
From now on, all calls will be immediately forwarded to this number. You can forward to all types of numbers. Keep in mind that people who are forwarded may not always notice this immediately. Therefore, make sure you inform the forwarded number of this.
Are you back from vacation, or are you about to start a new working day? Then it’s time to stop forwarding your iPhone. To do this, follow the steps again and slide the green switch so that the box turns gray.
