Your iPhone helps with charging stress in new Ford

Still suffering from electric car charging fears? Thanks to your iPhone, the electric Ford Mustang Mach E can now offer a solution.

Switching to an electric car is becoming more and more normal, but cold feet are also normal. Instead of filling up with petrol, you now have to charge electrically. In addition, electric cars have an even smaller range on average and charging is also slightly different. Fortunately, there are solutions. A well-known is a route planner that focuses on charging points. For example, your navigation can predict when you will run out and find a charging station so that you can recharge. Especially useful on long trips.

How does it work? As usual, you fill in your route on your phone or via CarPlay. Because your phone and your car are in contact, your iPhone knows how much charge your Ford Mustang Mach E will have and you get that information on your route. This way you can plan your route based on how much load you have in your car afterwards. Simple yet effective and a nice addition to your electric car. The rollout has been quiet, so it’s already available.
