Google Play Store is actually a safe source to download Android apps and games. But even there, attackers manage to smuggle in dangerous apps that are only discovered over time. A total of 28 new Android apps have been unmasked, which can be dangerous and expensive for you. So be sure to check the list below to see if you have one of the apps installed.

28 dangerous Android apps with 10 million downloads

The danger behind such Android apps should not be underestimated. They have been downloaded more than 10 million times and can thus cause millions in damage (source: bleeding computer). It is malware that sign up for premium services without you noticing, which you then have to pay for via the bill. Since the methods are becoming more and more sophisticated, you usually don’t notice them at all. In the meantime, all this happens in the background and no other apps or websites have to be opened.

You must delete the following Android apps:

Sometimes android apps have the same names so you can use the Note the details in brackets. This is the exact name in the Google Play Store in the URL. If the part fits, then you have installed one of the infected Android apps and need to delete it immediately.

If you have installed one of the Android apps mentioned above, you must of course remove it and then keep an eye on your account transactions and phone bill. If unusual debits have been made there, you should contact your bank or provider. Perhaps the money can be reversed or blocked.
