This is how the balcony power plant works

Balcony power plants are mini PV systems with which users can cover the basic electricity needs of their household. But that’s not all: since 2023, VAT has been waived for solar systems with less than 30 kilowatts peak. Not only the systems themselves are affected by these savings, but also their components – for example inverters and battery storage.

In addition, there are numerous regional subsidies that help finance the new balcony power plant with sums between 50 and 500 EUR.
