Tesla does not offer a real SUV – and the futuristic Cybertruck is still a long time coming. But that didn’t stop a group of hobbyists from converting a discarded Tesla Model 3 into an off-road vehicle. Even if some important details are still missing, the interim result is already impressive.

Tesla Model 3 becomes an electric off-road vehicle

Even if electric cars are becoming increasingly popular, things are still looking poor in the off-road sector. It will be some time before Tesla attacks himself with his Cybertruck. A few hobbyists didn’t want to wait that long. Without further ado it became a more or less Scrap-ripe Tesla Model 3 converted into an electric off-road vehicle. Although the characteristic roll cage is still missing and a spare wheel under the rear window is not yet to be found, the conversion is already making a good impression.

The crazy electric SUV is a cooperation between Grind Hard Plumbing and Rich Rebuild. While Rich Rebuilds was responsible for equipping the almost scrap-ripe Tesla Model 3 with two engines, Grind Hard Plumbing took care of the wheels as well as the Modification of the chassis taken care of.

Especially from the front, it is hardly noticeable that this is a Tesla. It goes with the fact that the bonnet was dismantled and reveals a view of the inside. In addition, the SUV clearly owns stronger LED headlights.

Tesla as an off-road vehicle: project continues

Even if the interim result is already impressive and the hobbyists are already satisfied with the line, the end of the story has not yet been reached. They want to push the conversion further and the Tesla Model 3 above all change optically (Source: Grind hard plumbing).
