Do you fancy a little nostalgia? How much we liked Far Cry 3 back then, we’ll tell you in our video test:

Why is FC3 so popular?

With Far Cry 3, Ubisoft took a completely new direction that still characterizes the series of games today: One big open worldwhich is filled with all sorts of different events, quests and hidden secrets, a leveling system, which gives the game a light role play character and sometimes cinematic staging in the form of cut scenes and action pieces.

Well, by today’s standards, the game systems sometimes seem a bit outdated, but Far Cry 3 is still fun!

But something – or rather someone – particularly impressed the fans: Vaas Montenegro. The leader of the pirate gang burned himself because of his character and the legendary “Have I ever told you what the definition of insanity is?”-Scene literally with the players. But we don’t want to reveal too much about the heated antagonist of the game – just in case you haven’t played Far Cry 3 yet.

The fact is: If you can win something out of open world shooters, you should catch up on Far Cry 3 urgently. And Ubisoft’s free campaign offers you the perfect occasion.
