You can set the time yourself, between 5 and 30 seconds. This function is not really necessary for average users, you can simply delete the Tweet in case of a spelling error. But if you have a lot of followers, it is attractive. Because screenshots are often made of these Tweets and they can haunt you for the rest of your life.
