Xiaomi Smart Band 8 shows up: gets interchangeable straps

The current Mi Band watches are not exactly known for their premium look. It may just be that this will change a bit with the arrival of the Xiaomi Smart Band 8.

A photo of the new Xiaomi Smart Band 8 has appeared on the Internet. We can draw several conclusions from this photo. Xiaomi will provide the Smart Band 8 with a similar design to that of the current Smart Band 7, the series previously known as Mi Band.

At first glance, no major changes seem to be made with the new watch. However, there is one important change that concerns the strap of the watch. This will be interchangeable with the new model. Now you can also change straps, but you have to push the clock out of the silicone strap yourself.

Furthermore, it seems that the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 will receive support for Bluetooth 5.1 and a battery with 3.87V. Pretty scanty information for now. We expect more information about Xiaomi’s smartwatch in the near future.
