“Xiaomi MiCare after-sales warranty service worldwide”

Xiaomi will soon roll out its MiCare after-sales support service worldwide. This is evident from a patent application for the name. MiCare is a repair service, but you can also purchase extra insurance for your new Xiaomi phone.

MiCare

Xiaomi will soon offer better customer service in the Netherlands and Belgium, LetsGoDigital discovers. Xiaomi seems to be planning to offer its MiCare service from China worldwide and it has meanwhile filed a patent application that has registered the name in Europe.

MiCare extends your phone’s warranty by one year to a total of three years. In addition, it works as a repair service for telephones that can also exchange your smartphone if necessary. If you have a risky job, or if you are just a bit clumsy, you can take out extra insurance that replaces your screen up to twice a year in the event of damage. MiCare can also generate a discount coupon so that you can exchange your smartphone for a new model after a year with a discount.

‘Best customer service’

At least that’s how MiCare works in the few countries where the service is already active. This is the case, for example, in China and India. MiCare was launched relatively recently, in November 2020. In the meantime, it has already helped Xiaomi to increase customer satisfaction in the countries in which MiCare is available, because in India Xiaomi was chosen as the brand with the best after salesservices.

Such after-sales customer service can mean a lot to a smartphone brand, as it keeps customers more tied to the manufacturer. The intention is that they will choose the same brand again for their next purchase, precisely because they are so satisfied with the good service.

Enter Pursuit

It is striking that in the Netherlands and Belgium, especially Samsung has made the biggest steps in terms of after-sales services. Samsung is also constantly improving its service and establishing partnerships with local partners. Although it seems that Xiaomi is only too happy to give chase.
