Xiaomi introduces Xiaomi 12 Lite for the international market

Xiaomi has introduced its 12 Lite for the international market. The device contains a 6.55-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The processor is a Snapdragon 778G. We know it from the Samsung A52 and it seems very fine for a midrange smartphone like this one.

The device is comparable in size to the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite and the screen also looks exactly like it with its full-HD image resolution. Xiaomi 12 Lite supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+. It contains a 4,300mAh battery and 67W fast charging is possible. The device is even fully charged in 41 minutes.

In terms of cameras, you can take a picture with the 108 megapixel main camera and the 8 megapixel ultra wide-angle sensor. You should also be able to take detailed photos up close: there is a 2 megapixel macro camera. You can take selfies with the perferator hole on the front: it is equipped with a 32 megapixel camera.

Xiaomi 12 Lite comes in a version with 6GB or 8GB of ram and 128GB or 256GB of storage. It is available from 399 dollars, but there is no official euro price yet (converted it would be 392 euros). In any case, the question is what exactly Xiaomi means by ‘international market’: is that more than just the United States?

That remains to be seen. In any case, we now have an idea in which colors the device will be available, as you can see in the image at the top of this article: pink purple, green and black. Xiaomi writes: “With a sleek 7.29mm thin design and a weight of just 173g, Xiaomi 12 Lite offers an incredibly comfortable grip in the hand. The back has a matte color gradient that dances with the light. The color extends further over the flat edges for a simple yet refined aesthetic.” In short, Xiaomi would like to put down a luxury device, even if this is not even the high-end segment.
