Xiaomi brings MIUI 14 to older smartphones

With the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro, Xiaomi will soon be introducing new top smartphones that are not only equipped with Android 13, but also with MIUI 14. The new interface should provide some innovations, including a significant reduction in bloatware and advertising. The smartphones should also run faster with the heavily customized interface. But not only newer cell phones will get MIUI 14 as an update, but according to the latest information that too xiaomi 10which was presented almost three years ago (source: GizChina). Actually, it would already be out, but the former top smartphone could be refreshed properly with it.

Unlike Samsung’s interface, MIUI is by Xiaomi namely not tied to an Android version. Xiaomi can also offer the software for smartphones that do not have Android 13 and are still running Android 12. Accordingly, Xiaomi is much freer in the possibility of simply providing a new interface with innovations, regardless of the major Android upgrade. Older cell phones in particular have benefited from this strategy in recent years, even if some of them were equipped with older Android versions.
