‘Xiaomi 12X should be a new affordable flagship with a more compact design’

Xiaomi is reportedly working on a new smartphone; the Xiaomi 12X. According to the reports, this smartphone should be a new flagship with excellent specifications, but will have a more compact design. An interesting option for those who do not want a large smartphone?

The Chinese Xiaomi comes with a new Xiaomi 12X. This smartphone will be part of the Xiaomi 12 series, with the model name Mi being omitted like the new 11T series. The Xiaomi 12X should be an affordable alternative to an expensive high-end device. The first leaks about the new smartphone have been revealed by a leaker and thus we get to know the first details about the new device from Xiaomi. It is unknown when Xiaomi will introduce the new phone to the public.

Xiaomi is going to release the new phone as a successor to the Xiaomi 11X. The new Xiaomi 12X will come with the Snapdragon 870 chipset. There is also talk of a screen size of about 6.28 inches. This AMOLED panel gets 120Hz support, Full-HD+ resolution and support for HDR10. When it comes to the camera, so far we only know that the smartphone will have a 50 megapixel main camera. With this data it becomes clear that the screen is getting smaller than that of the 11X and (on paper) there appears to be a small upgrade for the camera. The Xiaomi 11X has a 6.67-inch screen and 48MP main camera.
