Xiaomi 12 Ultra Renders Leaked: Huge Back Camera

Renders of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra have been leaked and the large camera island stands out. The phone gets a 50 MP main camera and a periscope camera for a large optical zoom range. Furthermore, the curved screen edges are striking.

Xiaomi recently launched its 12 series with top devices in the Netherlands and Belgium: the Xiaomi 12, 12X and 12 Pro. Yet there is one more variant on the way that will be the most powerful of the foursome. The reliable OnLeaks now shares renders of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra.

The Xiaomi 12 Ultra has a remarkably large camera setup that works with a 50 MP main sensor, a 48 MP wide-angle camera and a 48 M¨P periscope camera. The precise zoom range of that camera is unknown and nothing has been leaked about the fourth lens on the back either. There will be a 20 MP selfie camera in the top device. We also clearly see the Leica brand name and last week Xiaomi already announced the collaboration with the German company.

It has also been leaked that the device has a 6.6-inch AMOLED screen with curved edges. The panel has a very high brightness of 1,700 nits and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The phone measures 161.9 x 74.3 x 9.5 mm and weighs 234 grams. Xiaomi is launching the phone with stereo speakers and it comes with a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor. It was previously leaked that the phone will come with a model with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. The battery is also a 5,000 mAh model that can be charged with a 120W or 150W fast charger.

Is he coming to the Netherlands and Belgium?

According to the new information, Xiaomi will sell the 12 Ultra for 1,264 euros. It is not known whether the company has plans to ship the Ultra variant to the Netherlands and Belgium.
