Xbox easter egg discovered after 20 years (and this is how it works)
Without the help of a developer, this Xbox easter egg might never have been discovered. After almost 20 years, it is finally coming out.
Makers of games, films or tech products often enjoy hiding Easter eggs. It is up to the user to discover it. In the internet age, easter eggs have been found like this. A recent example is the zombie maps in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Soon after the release of a new map, the easter eggs are discovered by an active community.
In that respect, it is a bit silly for the makers of the original Xbox. The console contained an easter egg that has never been discovered. A developer who worked on the original Xbox presumably thought no one would ever find out. That’s why he hinted about this easter egg in an interview with Kotaku. Almost 20 years after the release of the Xbox console, the easter egg has finally been discovered.
