Would you run into fraudsters? Try the Czech Kybertest and see

All kinds of pitfalls await active Internet users from computers and mobile devices on every corner. In the best case, it is, for example, unconscious mistakes, in the worse case, intentional attempts to misuse data or even steal money. You can recognize that someone has sent you an email or maybe an SMS message trying to fool and lure your login information? For example, an attacker who pretends to be your bank in communication? You can answer these questions quite easily thanks to Czech web application Kybertest. This is a public version of the knowledge questionnaire, which has been filled in by selected respondents since the end of last year. And with a success rate of only 43%! Will you be better in the test?

CBA Security Index

Every year, the Czech Banking Association (CBA) measures the so-called CBA Cybersecurity Index, which is based on Czechs’ claims on how they behave on the Internet. In 2020, the Index again achieved average results, a total of 61%. Unteachable Czechs have repeatedly admitted that they do not read information messages from banks and do not pay attention to the security warnings of their mobile phone, half of them do not even deal with its security.

Kybertest (you can run it on your computer or mobile phone) is that the application shows you several types of communication from a fictional bank. Your task is to mark in the image segments which suspicious elements do not appear to you. Be sure to try a quiz. It only takes a few minutes and you can find a lot of interesting things in the test. The project website also contains various security tips for typically vulnerable situations from cyber communication. For example, how to detect the mentioned suspicious elements and better protect not only the login data.
