with features of the Nexus 6P
Realme is not exactly a big player in our country yet. Perhaps that will change with the high-end smartphone that is expected soon. It is the Realme GT2 Pro, a new smartphone with high-end specifications and a design that we have seen somewhere before.
Realme GT2 Pro
The Realme GT2 Pro has surfaced on renders, courtesy of information from leaker OnLeaks. He has made renders based on the information known about the device so far. It is not only thanks to him that we get the confirmation of the name. This is because Realme itself has also confirmed the name on social media. The smartphone will in any case come in white and mint green, as is clear from the renders. There is a camera module containing three lenses. It would be twice a 50-megapixel lens and an 8-megapixel sensor. There is cooperation with Ricoh for the photo cameras.
The Realme GT2 Pro is expected to come with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor. This will be announced by Qualcomm shortly. We can also expect a 6.51-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. If the reports are correct, this premium smartphone will come with Android 12, with the Realme UI 3.0 skin on top. Although information about the battery capacity is still lacking, it is clear that the device can charge very quickly; with 125 watts.
Coming back to the design of this smartphone; this one is very well known. The housing of the device is relatively thin; while the camera module is considerably thicker. The design is clearly inspired by the Nexus 6P. This Nexus phone was released by Huawei in 2015. This smartphone also had the distinctive thicker camera module. When we can expect the new Realme GT2 Pro exactly, and whether it will also come to the Netherlands, it is not yet known.
