Motorola presents Moto G50 with Dimensity 700 chipset

Motorola’s G-series has been expanded with a new model. After we previously saw several devices in this series, it is now the turn of the Moto G50. The device has been circulating in the rumor circuit for months.

Moto G50 announced

The Moto G60s is Motorola’s latest G-series smartphone. Still, Motorola thought that a device could still be added. In Australia, the brand has announced the Moto G50. This smartphone is equipped with support for the 5G network and offers a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset; an octa-core processor with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The battery capacity of the device is 5000 mAh. This battery can be charged with 15W.

Motorola gives the Moto G50 a 6.5-inch IPS-LCD screen, which delivers an HD+ resolution with a 90Hz refresh rate. In the notch is a 13 megapixel front camera. There are three cameras on the back; a 48 megapixel main lens, 2 megapixel macro lens and a 2 megapixel depth camera. The fingerprint scanner is on the side of the Moto G50 and there is also a 3.5 millimeter connection and NFC.

For now, the device has only been announced for Australia. There the device comes on the market for 250 euros. Nothing is known yet about a possible arrival in Europe.
