Many users are angry with Microsoft because Windows 11 comes with a new requirement.
It will soon be mandatory with Windows 11 Pro to have a Microsoft account. The operating system also requires users to be connected to the Internet during the installation process.

It is striking that Windows 11 will soon be the only major operating system that requires an account to access basic functions. Microsoft will soon force Windows 11 Pro users to create a Microsoft account and be connected to the Internet for the initial setup process. The new requirements mirror those for Windows 11 Home, which has required an internet connection and account since its launch in October last year.
Competitors like Apple don’t do this. macOS allows you to create a local account during setup, and Android takes you to the home screen the same way without logging in. Even Chrome OS, a cloud-centric operating system, has a guest mode for easy account-less browsing.

The new rule should not affect those who already have a configured local account. Or those who use a custom username and password to log in to work PCs. This is noted by Ars Technica.
Users do not respond positively. This makes it much more difficult to donate or sell computers. It is also more difficult to set up a computer for someone else. This also gives Microsoft a feature that allows them to collect more data about their users.
