Revenge porn: when video is the subject of debate
Filming yourself in the middle of sex is not uncommon and many couples are used to the practice. Where the shoe pinches is when the video ends up on a pornographic site and is made public. This practice can also destroy public figures. We remember the Benjamin Griveaux affair. This crime is however registered in the penal code since 2016 and the culprits face up to 2 years in prison and a fine of 60,000 euros.
Deepfake: to lose your mind
There are many apps that allow you to take a picture of yourself and stick your face to that of celebrities in movies. What a joy to see yourself as Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean or in Wolverine in X-men ! The problem with this technology known as Deepfake, when is it the drifts stick your face on those of pornographic actors and actresses. And of course 90% of these deepfakes feature women. As the revenge porn, the dissemination of pornographic montages without consent is punishable by law, with penalties of up to one year in prison and a fine of 15,000 euros.
