Windows 11 boxed is available for purchase
Those who prefer to have Windows 11 in physical version rather than a simple download can now buy the boxed version. There is a version for the Home edition and one for the Professional edition.
Windows 11 exists in a boxed version
Microsoft has been offering the boxed version of Windows 11 for just under a month, but no one has noticed. It must be said that Microsoft has not communicated publicly on it. Also, few traders offer this format for purchase. In France, there is at least Amazon.
What’s in the box? There is a USB key that includes Windows 11. The user can thus plug the key into his computer to precede the installation of the new operating system. Of course, an activation key is present to have a valid license.
The box version of Windows 11 Home with the USB key costs 159 euros. The price is 235 euros for the Professional edition. And if you are not interested in the USB key and you want a cheaper solution, you can buy a license for Windows 10. All you have to do is upgrade to Windows 11 for free. Indeed, the transition from Windows 10 to Windows 11 is free. However, you must make sure you have a PC compatible with the configuration required by Microsoft (more information on this article).
