“Bad Boys II”: What is the second part of the action series about?

The Miami Police Department’s chaotic dream team is back: narcotics officers Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) are given the task of convicting drug lord Hector Juan Carlos Tapia (Jordi Mollá). Within a high-tech special unit, they are supposed to do what the police have always failed to do: find out how the drugs are smuggled into the country in order to convict the drug lord. They get help from the DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency), which provides an undercover informant. When it turns out to be Marcus’ sister Sydney (Gabrielle Union), Mike and Marcus are less than thrilled. They’re trying everything to support Sydney. But when Mike also falls in love with Sydney, chaos is inevitable and the friendship between the two cops is put to the test.

By the way, the fourth part of the “Bad Boy” series is coming! And despite that Oscar scandal involving Will Smith!

“Bad Boys II”: Abridged and Unabridged

Before the film could be released for those aged 16 and over, a few things had to be changed. That’s why there’s an abridged version that’s approved for ages 16 and over and an unabridged version that wasn’t released for young people, but should only be viewed from the age of 18. For this purpose, in the FSK 16 version, image material was used in some places that does not appear in the FSK 18 version. There are also audio censorships, recuts and alternative scenes, but they didn’t affect the length of the film. Overall, both versions differ by 12 cuts.
