Which Android version does your smartphone run on?

There are many Android versions in circulation, although Google hopes that the ‘fragmentation’ will decrease every year. Every once in a while, Google delights us with platform distribution figures. The latest figures were shared in early August. This shows that 27% of all phones and tablets with Android run on Android 11. Android 11 is therefore the second most used version, followed by Android 10 with 22.3% and Android 9 Pie with 14.5%. Only then do we see Android 12 appear in the table with distribution figures. 13.5% of Android devices currently run on these and just under 0.2% of those have beta software. Android 13 is not included because that version was not yet officially announced.
