If the previous range of frozen pizzas in the supermarket has become boring, you can get creative supplies. Klaas Heufer-Umlauf announced a “Baywatch Berlin Pizza” in his Friday podcast at the end of January. The pizza is now available in many shops. Where is the pizza and what is so special about it?

After a “Super Mario Pizza” was recently released and Capital Bra with the “Gangstarella” has been offering its pizza range for a long time, there is now another frozen pizza that goes beyond the standard brands. The Baywatch Berlin pizza is distributed by Edeka and should be available in most branches by now.

You can find them on the company’s website Product Announcement. After Klaas Heufer-Umlauf surprised his podcast colleagues Thomas Schmitt and Jakob Lundt in mid-January by announcing the “Baywatch Berlin Pizza”, there was Episode from Friday February 3rd new information about it.

The pizza is available in the freezer section of the Edeka supermarkets.

Thomas Schmidt, Jakob Lundt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf report on their visit to the “pizza factory” in the podcast episode “The 183 million dollar man”. In the issue, they tell how they communicated their taste preferences to those responsible.
You can find the Baywatch Berlin pizza as a “salami with truffle oil” variant and as a vegetarian margherita variety.

Unlike most other frozen pizzas, there is no picture of the food on the packaging. Klaas and Co. also draw attention to this in their podcast. At the same time, they urge listeners to upload their own photos of the prepared dough meal on their social media channels to circumvent the omission. There is already a photo of the packaging on the “Junkfoodguru” Instagram channel.

In most Edeka stores, the pizzas should come in the flavors “Million dollar salami“ (with mozzarella, Gran Padano and truffle oil) and “Golden Margherita(with mozzarella and half-dried, marinated cherry tomatoes) are now available. The price is 4.99 euros. There is a QR code on the back of the pack. Once scanned, you can listen to what Klaas, Schmitti and Jakob have to say about pizza. So you don’t have to eat the pizza alone, but can be accompanied acoustically by the podcasters. There are different QR codes, so you can hear different stories.
