MIUI 13 is the latest version of Xiaomi’s software shell for Android. The brand is now announcing which phones will be the first to enjoy the update. It will come to the Mi 11 and 11T series in the first quarter of 2022.

Xiaomi MIUI 13
Xiaomi recently presented the Xiaomi 12 in China, which is the brand’s first smartphone to come with MIUI 13. Something is currently known about the improvements in the Chinese version of MIUI 13, but Xiaomi has now also revealed which phones worldwide can expect the update first. The following smartphones will receive MIUI 13 from Q1 2022:

New in MIUI 13
We also know that MIUI 13 is a major update with improvements in design, security and privacy. At the moment, Xiaomi has only made statements about the improvements in the Chinese version, so functions may differ from the global version.
First of all, Xiaomi has announced MIUI 13 Pad, which is a version of the software optimized specifically for tablets. According to Xiaomi, the top 3,000 Android apps are optimized for Xiaomi tablets. There will also be a new font, more backgrounds and a facelift for widgets. Xiaomi states that MIUI now works smoother and more stable with 23 percent fewer frame drops.
