WhatsApp will soon let you share your screen during a phone call
An interesting new feature has been found in the beta of WhatsApp: you may soon be able to share your screen while calling. You can turn the feature on while you’re calling, so you can show the other person something that’s happening on your phone. That saves you taking a screenshot and sending it again.
If you now have a video call during WhatsApp, you have to take a screenshot fairly regularly if you want to see something and send it to that person, who in turn has to look at the screenshot on his phone. It’s much easier to just share your screen, especially if you want to show something that requires you to scroll, for example.
The folks at WABetaInfo spotted the new feature of being able to do that in WhatsApp in version 2.23.11.19 of the messenger app’s beta. However, having that version does not mean you already have the feature. If you do, you will notice that when you video call someone, a new icon appears between the button for switching camera perspective and turning the camera on and off.
If you tap that icon, a warning will follow to let you know that you are about to share the entire phone screen. So if you have sensitive information open, it is better not to use this function. It is not possible, as in some video conferencing services, to show only one tab or app. You can, however, stop sharing the screen again without immediately stopping the entire telephone conversation.

The new bottom bar at the bottom now has Chats, Calls, Communities, and Status side by side, which was different before.
When the new option to share your screen during video calling via WhatsApp will become available to everyone in the app, that is still unknown.
