Google Bard can now create code in 20 programming languages

Google’s new artificial intelligence tool Bard has a knack for languages. At least, recently it can ‘talk’ in as many as 20 programming languages. It means it can generate code in 20 different languages.

Google has given Bard an upgrade that has made it just that little bit smarter when it comes to programming. The advantage of this is not only that the artificial intelligence can better help you with programming by mainly transmitting. It can also analyze what you have done and what might be wrong with it.

In a blog dedicated to programming with Bard, Google says that programmers can now generate, debug and explain the code they create even better. Google has received a lot of demand for programming and now it responds by making sure Bard can help in no less than 20 programming languages. Think of C++, Javascript, Java, Typescript and Python. It is remarkable that there are apparently twenty new programming languages, but Google has not named them all.

Mind you, Bard also depends on what is already available on the internet for code generation. So the hard work of others is used. So that also includes a warning from Google about how Bard is still in the experimental phase and all responsibility for the code you use rests with you and especially not with Google. Google recommends carefully reviewing the code and checking for bigs and the like. Bard is unfortunately still not officially available in the Netherlands. Hopefully that will happen soon, but for now you can only sign up for the US test. See also our article about the introduction of the beta of Bard.
