WhatsApp will soon let you save messages with an expiry date. These are messages that normally automatically disappear from your chat conversation after a day, a week or three months. You will now be able to save important things in the messaging app.
WhatsApp Messages with Expiration Date
Two years ago, WhatsApp rolled out a feature that allows you to automatically delete messages in WhatsApp. The option Messages with expiration date you can enable it in specific conversations and then all messages will disappear after 24 hours, 7 days or 90 days. You can read all about it here.
WhatsApp now wants to come up with a new feature for disappearing messages. Sometimes you can receive important information in conversation with disappearing messages, which then threatens to be lost. You will soon be able to save such messages in WhatsApp. You can then find ‘Saved messages’ from the ‘View contact’ menu in a conversation.
The reliable rumor spreader WABetaInfo states that the feature is still in development and that it is just yet to be found in the beta version of WhatsApp? WhatsApp could introduce it in upcoming beta updates and only then is it expected in the stable version. It is not known when we expect that update tomorrow.
