WhatsApp update in Play Store: 4 new features
WhatsApp has made an update available in the Play Store. The latest version of the messaging service brings four useful improvements that further improve the use of WhatsApp. What’s new in WhatsApp’s latest update?
WhatsApp with four new features
Sometimes it takes a while to find out what exactly is new in the chat app in new updates from WhatsApp, but now WhatsApp provides more clarity about this. The latest version of WhatsApp that is now being rolled out brings a total of four new features. Thanks to the information that is shared, we can also share with you what these improvements are. Unfortunately, it is not yet possible to adjust the photo quality. We are working on that.
First of all, you can now add a caption to a document that you send via WhatsApp. Until now this was not possible for documents, but it was possible for photos and videos. Now also with files. Another improvement is that you can now send up to 100 photos and videos at a time to someone or in a group. Previously, this limit was 30 pieces. Still, when sending four or more files, they will be bundled as albums, so that the entire chat is not immediately filled with media files. There are also improvements for groups. Users can now add longer group topics and better group descriptions.
Finally, WhatsApp also mentions the addition of personal avatars. This feature was previously made available to everyone. You can use personal avatars of yourself as a sticker or profile picture. DroidApp has written an extensive article for you about WhatsApp Avatars. In it you can read exactly what you can do with it and how to use it.
WhatsApp has recently made it possible to send messages to yourself. Handy for making a note or sharing your shopping list with yourself.
