WhatsApp lets you mute videos for sharing

WhatsApp messaging service gets a new feature related to video sharing. Sometimes this handy feature can come in handy!

Share WhatsApp videos without sound

A new feature has been discovered in the latest version of WhatsApp. Users are given the option to mute a video before sharing it with friends. This can be useful if, for example, you want to share a video where the sound is distracting (such as wind noise in the microphone) or if (private) conversations can be heard in the background.

You don’t necessarily have to film from WhatsApp itself, but you can also use the option with a previously made video, in the same way that you can send it so far.

From the latest beta version you can choose to mute the sound by tapping the speaker at the preview of the video. The recipient will receive the video, but without the sound. The feature is now in beta and will come to the final version of WhatsApp later.
