WhatsApp introduces new group settings interface

WhatsApp has given group settings a makeover in the beta version of its app. The interface of these settings has been renewed and made even simpler. Here you will find the first images of the updated group settings.

WhatsApp has changed the UI for group settings in the latest beta version of its app, version 2.23.11.11. These adjustments fit into WhatsApp’s plan to make the app more accessible and simpler.

The interface currently shows the following: ‘Edit group settings, ‘Send messages’, ‘Edit group managers’ and ‘Approve new participants’. If you then want to change something in these settings, press one of the options. A new menu or window will open where you can view the options and change the settings. To make this (even) easier, WhatsApp has now created a new environment in which you can edit certain options immediately. Without opening a new menu.

In other words, the new interface makes it possible to adjust settings directly. WhatsApp does this with multiple switches that you can turn on or off. You can see the new interface in the image below.

Availability

As mentioned above, the new user interface for the group settings can be found in the latest beta version of WhatsApp with version number 2.23.11.11. Users accessing this version should see the new interface. It is not yet known when the feature will come to the regular WhatsApp Messenger app.

We also see that no new functions or options have been added to the group settings. So it’s really just a redesigned menu. It is not known whether there will be any new functions or options.
