WhatsApp comes with a way to recover deleted chats

Do you ever delete something you said on WhatsApp? While in most cases it is undoubtedly a good thing that it is gone and above all should stay away, WhatsApp is coming up with a way to retrieve deleted chats.

WhatsApp seems to be feeling the pain, because it is going to change that. At least if you want to. According to WABetaInfo, the company is working on the ability to retrieve what has been deleted. It probably matters whether you removed it just for yourself or for yourself and for others.

In a test version of the popular chat app, when you choose the ‘delete only for me’ option, you will see a pop-up at the bottom asking if you want to undo it. That sounds confusing, but that’s because the option is only available for a few seconds. So for now, it doesn’t seem to apply to messages that you delete for everyone.

Many changes are coming to WhatsApp. Likewise, it would also work on a way to edit messages you’ve created and expand the size of files you send to 2GB. This could have a major impact on, for example, a service such as the Dutch WeTransfer, which is still widely used when many photos have to be sent at once.
