WhatsApp: a new function to correct sent messages

WhatsApp is more than 5 billion downloads on the Google Play Store. Yes, you read correctly ! 5 billion! So that doesn’t mean that as many humans use it on a daily basis, it’s true, but even in terms of Android devices, you can easily see that this number is colossal. Meta messaging makes great efforts throughout the year to be more and more complete and always offers new features distilled in dribs and drabs.

For example, you will soon be able to transform your voice messages into text format or send high quality photos and 4K videos within a 2 GB limit. coming weeks is the possibility of correcting messages already sent.

Editing messages in WhatsApp
Already last year, the WABetaInfo site had discovered this feature project in the code…

WhatsApp deserves a good fix

It is true that not being able to correct a message sent is very annoying, especially since WhatsApp is often used in the professional environment. Letting a big mistake pass can therefore be problematic for some users. We can also imagine modifying an aggressive message that we would have sent out of anger… The life-saving feature that will allow you to correct the messages sent should therefore be deployed in the near future, the engineers at Meta having been working on it for months. It will allow you to edit messages up to 15 minutes after sending. If you need to proofread your message, it should take you less time than that. This possibility (which exists among competitors, if only at Skype or Slack) will first be available to those who are registered for the beta version of the application before being gradually rolled out to everyone.

We will tell you about it again at that time for a little tutorial.
