What price for the foldable Oppo Find N2 Flip? What performance?
A first in Europe for Oppo
The Chinese brand had presented its first clamshell smartphone model at the end of 2021. The Find N was however only available in China, in order to conduct tests on the domestic market. But today, the company feels ready to attack the European market. Its main competitor is clearly Samsung: Oppo goes so far as to offer a similar name for its model, the Flip, like the Korean competitor.
On the program therefore for the Find N2 Flip, a smartphone designed to be practical. Rather light with its 192 grams, it offers a front screen, the one that remains accessible when folded, of more than 3”. Almost twice as big as Samsung’s, which is “only” 1.9”. Convenient for accessing useful information (notifications, widgets, etc.) without having to open the flip.
Find N2 Flip: generous performance for a folding
Oppo’s clamshell smartphone will seduce with its technical capabilities. Despite the absence of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, produced by Qualcomm, the device offers performance almost equal to its competitors. Rather impressive. For this result, it embeds the chip Dimension 9000+from the manufacturer MediaTek.
Of course, a flip smartphone cannot offer the same performance as a conventional mobile. These are formats that are too fine to integrate powerful elements. Designed to be practical and versatile, they therefore do not carry exceptional photo sensors or advanced cooling systems. However, the Oppo Find N2 Flip succeeds in convincing within its range.
The Oppo Find N2 Flip will be available for sale from February 28. Most French operators already offer it for pre-order: Orange or SFR already offer them in their stores. For the 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage version, plan a budget of €1,099.
