What do you use AI tools for?

One tech company after another is implementing AI tools in their software. In search engines, in word processors: you can hardly ignore it. And then there are the stand-alone tools, such as Dall-E, Midjourney, ChatGPT and, more recently, Shap-E. You hardly notice that you are using the first category, but you do of the latter. And we are curious about that: how do you use artificial intelligence tools?

Artificial intelligence is everywhere

To say that 2023 is the year of artificial intelligence is an understatement, given the many AI tools that are thrown at us. It’s war and weft: whether you’re looking for a text or an image. We see artists filing lawsuits against AI tools that have learned their tricks from ‘real’ art and we see teachers checking the papers with their hands in their hair, not knowing whether the writer is not an AI bot.
