In the base game of Far Cry 6, you can find 49 normal weapons and 49 unique weapons. You can get more weapons through certain additional content from special editions. You can also buy souped-up weapons from Lola (NPC for special operations) in the black market menu, the range of which changes from time to time. Added to this are the special weapons used by the insurgent leaders, who bring a new unique weapon into play every week.

Unless you are with “Armed to the teeth” If you want to unlock one of the trophies and achievements of Far Cry 6, you only have to collect any 49 unique weapons. These have fixed locations in the game world and most of them can be found in boxes marked with a pistol symbol (Yaran smuggled goods) on the map. But you also get some as a reward for certain treasure hunts or missions.

The situation is different with conventional weapons. Most of them have no fixed locations, but can be randomly looted from FND depot boxes (black-red chests). Alternatively, you can also use the Warehouse facility “guerrilla base” to buy. Build it up in up to three stages to gradually unlock a larger range of weapons. Even with the normal weapons there are some that you can only get through certain treasure hunts. Also regularly completes the Los Bandidos stakes, because even here you sometimes get the normal weapons as a reward.

While unique weapons cannot be improved with mods and attachment mods, as these are preinstalled here, you can improve normal weapons with loads of upgrades such as silencers, visors, etc. on workbenches. For this you need various resources and, above all, a lot of gunpowder.

None of the weapons in the game are missable, and all of them can be collected after completing the main story. In the Arsenal menu you can see how many weapons you already have in each category.
