Want to try out the new Android Auto features before launching them? Google is launching a beta program

Android Auto has been a fairly discussed topic recently. Having a smartphone connected to the vehicle and using its full potential on the big screen infotainment has something to do with it. Quality navigation including current traffic or the ability to make phone calls, listen to music and the like are among the great advantages of this service.

Google is now launching a beta program for Android Auto that will allow beta testers to try out new features before they are officially launched, according to Android Central. Google promises better updates for future versions of this program, which will contain significantly fewer bugs and imperfections, as beta testers will detect them beforehand.

Those interested in beta testing can apply using this link. However, the admission of new testers is currently suspended and it is not currently accepting more. This may change over time.

The latest news in Android Auto

Only recently has the Czech navigation MapFactor Navigator 7 entered the Android Auto ecosystem. Google has also announced that it will be possible to play simple games. Even though you should definitely not play games while driving, it is questionable whether anyone will play these games at all. After all, if you sometimes wait a long time in the car, you will probably take your phone with you and play a full game from the Play Store.

There was also one inconvenience. Android Auto has a problem with Google Now, which only listens for the first command, then seems to deactivate. There is no solution yet. This problem is reported by many, but not all, users.
