Waiting time over 1 year is not uncommon
More and more people are switching to electric cars – a step that needs to be carefully considered and prepared. Because currently buying a new electric car is a tough test for customers. Because the brand-new electric cars are particularly long in coming.
The availability of goods is currently crumbling around the world. This has long since been felt by automakers – and with them, customers. If you want to take the step away from the combustion engine and buy an e-car, you have to show perseverance. Because the electrically powered new car often leaves wait some time.
New electric car: that’s how long customers really have to wait

Also several Customers can currently no longer order entry-level models from the VW Group – affected are e-UP! and e-Golf from VW, the Seat Mii electric and Škodas CITIGOe iV.
The range of delivery times extends from the quickly available exceptions with one to two months up to 14 months. Anyone who does not find out more or who really wants to have one of the models with a long waiting time has to wait over a year for the new electric car.
Long waiting times thanks to high demand and missing components
