Video of purple iPhone 14 Pro leaked – check out the reflections (and more)

Where does an alleged iPhone 14 Pro pop up first? Right, on Chinese social media. There are now several photos and videos of the iPhone 14 Pro – without a notch, with a purple color. Have a look.

iPhone 14 keynote announced, production started

The iPhone 14 has been in production for a while now and the date for the presentation has already been announced. In case you didn’t already know: it will be September 7th.

Apparently a lot of people in China have been waiting for this, because suddenly photos and even videos of the new iPhones appeared on the social media platform Weibo. Or yes, from the new iPhone 14 Pro, but we think that will be the most exciting iPhone of the year. Twitter user DuanRui was kind enough to share all the leaked material on Twitter as well. We take you along along the most important discoveries.

1. iPhone 14 Pro has no notch

It’s no big surprise, but the iPhone 14 Pro no longer has a notch (the notch for the front camera). Instead, there will be two holes in the screen: one elongated and one round. In the photos you can recognize the ‘i’ of the iPhone at the top of the screen with a little imagination.

At iPhoned we think ‘the notch problem’ has been solved in a very chic way. Despite the fact that the distinctive black notch is now gone, the iPhone keeps its unique look.

2. The camera island is getting huge

It was already visible on all kinds of sketches, concept drawings and dummy models, so it seems to be really true. The camera island of the iPhone 14 Pro is getting really big. In terms of width, it takes up more than half of the rear. Moreover, it also makes the phone a lot thicker.

You will of course get something in return. According to the latest rumors, it is a 48-megapixel camera with special features. These include pixel binning for better photos in poor lighting conditions, a larger zoom up to 6x magnification and a special mode for astrophotography.

3. The purple iPhone 14 Pro is really cool

The most striking are the leaked colors of the iPhone 14 Pro. It looks like it will come in black, white (or rather cream), blue (like the blue of the iPhone 13) and a shimmery purple.

That last color is really the best of them all. That’s because it seems to change hue depending on the viewing angle and the incidence of light. If the iPhone 14 Pro really looks like this, then we know what color we’re going for.

Whether there will be more colors is uncertain, but we wouldn’t be surprised. After all, the iPhone 13 Pro is available in five colors and among the leaked colors of the iPhone 14 Pro are two shades of blue. There’s definitely more to come.

Is it all real?

Now the question remains: are all these leaked photos and videos from the iPhone 14 Pro real? We won’t know 100 percent for sure until September 7, somewhere between 7 and 8 p.m., but we estimate the truthfulness of this very high. After all, why would you put so much effort into fake photos and videos two weeks before the keynote? Then it is more likely that an iPhone has fallen from a truck somewhere in China.
