Over the past few months, I’ve decided to try a password manager, because it’s very limited in the Chrome browser. I came across Bitwarden, a free service that will keep a reputation in the field of the security of your login details. Because I often switch between devices for the work for DroidApp, I immediately discovered all the advantages. I log in once with my Bitwarden credentials and can then get started logging in to apps, websites and more. No more hassle with looking up passwords.

You can download the Bitwarden application for your Android device, but also for iOS. Once you have logged in with your account, you can also choose to log in with biometrics, such as your fingerprint, the next time. Ideal. The application itself looks quite sparse and boring. You will not always need the app itself, because Android recognizes that you are using a password manager and, for example, already gives you the option via the keyboard to log in somewhere using Bitwarden.

A password will then be rolled out that you can copy and save in your Bitwarden account. If the password is not completely to your liking, you can have it regenerated.
