VanMoof unveils new e-bikes for € 2,498 Apparata

The new S5 & A5 design e-bikes from the Dutch VanMoof will replace two old models.

Get to know the latest e-bikes from VanMoof, the S5 & A5. Two electric bikes including a long-distance battery, the latest VanMoof anti-theft technology and a cool new Halo Ring Interface in the handlebars. The S5 & A5 succeed the old S3 and X3.

The new anti-theft technology of the VanMoof S5 & A5 includes an updated in-wheel Kick Lock, larger pin and new automatic retraction function. You also have a new optional phone holder with USB-C charging port. The latter makes cycling very pleasant. You can legally navigate the city while on your way to your destination.

Cycling on the e-bikes should also feel more pleasant. The Dutch bicycle brand talks about improved electronics, the renewed torque sensor and the Gen 5 E-shifter. The S5 has a high entry frame, while the A5 has a low entry frame. So easier for women.

The VanMoof S5 & A5 will be available from April 5. The company markets the electric bicycles worldwide. There is one color, which is Gray. The price is € 2,498. Additional accessories will follow later. Such as the optional Click-On Battery, available from summer 2022.
